September 15, 2017

The first week of class started with a bang thanks to Hurricane Irma.  Thank you for your patience; if you had a class cancelled, your instructor will let you know about any make-ups.

Have you seen OLLILife?  If not, check out our new quarterly magazine here.  Thanks to editor, Sue Renault, and her team of contributors for putting together a terrific first issue!

Nametags:  We make nametags for all brand-new members.  If you are a returning member, we only make a nametag if you let us know you lost the old one.  Please use your nametag from term to term so that we don’t have to make so many.  ***There are a LOT of nametags that have not been picked up.  Whether you are a new or returning member, please check the nametag boxes to see if yours is in there.  If it’s a duplicate, turn it in to the office so that we can recycle it.***

The 2017-18 OLLI parking sticker is WHITE.  If you have not received one, please pick one up in the office this week.  Parking is open in front of the Herring Center.  Remember than in other parts of campus, you must park in the orange-coded areas (visitor parking).  Come by the office if you have any questions.

There will be a large event at the Younts Conference Center on the morning of Wednesday, September 20, so the parking lot at the Herring Center may be fuller than usual. You may want to allow a little extra time if you are coming to class that morning.
