Summer hours: The OLLI office will be open 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. during the summer.

After previous Straight Talk SC lectures, attendees have asked, “How can I make a difference?” in regard to a particular issue.  This summer’s series will answer that question, at least in the area of education.  REGISTER NOW FOR the remaining Straight Talk SC sessions. This year’s topic is Education for Life:  Working together to fulfill the promise of education.  Learn about what is essential for successful student outcomes and how communities are responding to the challenges faced by many.  You’ll hear from many distinguished speakers, including former SC Governor and former US Secretary of Education Dick Riley.  Tuesday evenings, June 14, and 21, 6:30-8:30 at Younts Conference Center on Furman’s campus.  For more information about the program and to register, visit the Riley Institute website.  You may also register in the OLLI Office.
