The First Super Bowl Season!

As a student coming from Vietnam, a country in which soccer is huge, football is yet to be familiar with me even after two Super Bowl seasons. In fact, this is the first season of Super Bowl that I actually watched the game.

And the only motivation for me to do that was my chapter’s Fellowship Event. Brothers of Alpha Eta Nu chapter put off parties and hangouts downtown to get down to homework on Saturday to gather at Johns Hall 101 on Sunday night for this huge Super Bowl events. We brought tons of food from Joy of Tokyo and wings and dips to cucumber with hummus. It was a real party there, and here are some photos that I took when we had already finished eating and Katy Perry was dancing with the sharks on the giant SB stage.

What a fun APO Fellowship Event!

I enjoyed my first Super Bowl! Just a minor sad thing that while a majority of my chapter liked Seahawks, (which might mislead an international student like me to assume that this is a Northern-Southern difference preference-wise), they lost, closing the game with a pretty great matchup “on paper.”

Looking forward to next year’s Super Bowl!!
