The REO committee excitedly held the initial release of our 2020 book copies yesterday. If you were unable to attend and pick up News of the World by Paulette Jiles, you can still stop by the OLLI Office to borrow a copy before we close for the Christmas holiday. The book is a wonderful read! Don’t forget that by Christmas next year, the Tom Hanks movie based on the book will be coming out – this gives you a chance to be in the know about it all. **Once you have finished reading, please return your copy to the office so that another member can enjoy the book.

Snippet from Sally… Kudos to Margot Stewart and her Read and Explore committee! It looks like they’ve picked another great book for our 4th annual event. The lobby was a buzz yesterday when I stopped by to pick up my copy of News of the World. Committee members were there checking out *free* copies and dropping hints of fun January events to come. I was fascinated when Mary Kay Kantz, our first Read and Explore committee chairman, explained to me how this project came to be with a gift received when the YWCA in Greenville closed. Weren’t we the lucky benefactors!! Merry Christmas OLLI friends and see you next year!!!
