Happy New Year!

Welcome to the 2016 Winter Term–we look forward to seeing you! There are still spots available in many of our courses; registration continues online and in the OLLI office.

Join us at the Back to OLLI Reception this Thursday, January 7, 3-4:30 p.m. in Manly Lobby. Come enjoy a sweet treat and a cup of hot cider while visiting with OLLI friends old and new. The New Member Orientation will be the same day, 2:30-3 p.m. in HC110.

* Don’t get caught in SNOW and ICE! In the event of inclement weather, OLLI follows the university schedule. If Furman closes, OLLI classes will also be canceled. Call Furman’s weather line at 294-3766 or tune into local news for the latest updates.

The Herring Center for Continuing Education has received a wonderful gift from Sarah and Gordon Herring—a new Yamaha Disklavier grand piano. This piano makes beautiful music when played “the old-fashioned way,” but also has amazing technological capabilities. We will be able to have many wonderful music opportunities (recitals, concerts, etc.) in our lobby thanks to the Herrings’ generosity. Our existing piano will remain as the classroom piano. How lucky we are to own two wonderful instruments!

Our Lost and Found has grown! Make sure you check the Lost and Found table in the Lobby when you come to Back to OLLI or during the first week of class. We want these items to find their owners!
