Registration begins August 18 for course package purchases and August 20 for single course purchases.

Pre-registration is going to begin on Monday, August 10 at 8:30 a.m. (www.furman.edu/olli and click on Pre-register Now!) Beginning Monday, test out your user name and password, sign up for your annual membership or purchase a course package. Then on registration day (August 18 if you have a course package and August 20 for single courses) all you will have to do is put your courses in the cart and check out!  Call the OLLI Office with any registration questions.

** Please note that we are not able to take credit card orders through the mail or in the office due to Furman network security compliance issues. All orders made via mail or in person must be paid with a check or cash. We stronglyencourage everyone to register online. It really is the fastest, easiest way to register for courses, and you can pay by credit card. Staff and volunteers will be in the office this week and next to help you, so if you are unfamiliar with the online registration system, come on in and we can help you through it.

COURSE ANNOUNCEMENTS

The course, Memoir: Write Life will be offered on Thursdays at 1:30. The day is listed incorrectly on page 4 of the brochure. We apologize for any confusion this mistake may have caused.

UPCOMING FALL ART EXHIBIT: The OLLI mascots have joined OLLI members on their worldwide travels and it’s time for everyone to share their visual story with those of us who have stayed closer to home. We will welcome back members to the Fall Term with an art exhibit celebrating Oliver and his travels.

All qualified entries MUST include Oliver. All art mediums are eligible including photography, painting, drawing, and 3-D artwork. Entries could include fantasy trips, i.e. Oliver on the moon or at the top of Mount Everest, caricatures of Oliver, woodcarvings, etc. Artists are limited to two entries in the exhibit but are not limited to both entries being in the same art medium. Submission Dates: August 24-September 8, 2015. Exhibit Dates: September 14-October 23, 2015. Submission forms are available in the OLLI Office. Many OLLI committees and members have been at work this summer planning for the new school year. Please consider how you would like to get involved with OLLI @ Furman this fall. Your unique talents and skills are a great resource that will help make OLLI an even better experience for all. During registration check out you will be given an opportunity to list your interests.

The Tai Chi SIG will not be meeting during the Fall term. There are two course offerings for those interested.
