Face The Nation as a Primary Source

Today marks the 60th anniversary of the premier of “Face the Nation“. The news show features journalists and experts interviewing well-know guests, who throughout the years have included presidents, senators, heads of state, and other news makers of the day. This Sunday the show will feature President Obama as he is interviewed about facing a Republican controlled Congress.

Full text transcripts from “Face The Nation” are available on our Lexis Nexis database since 1993 to today and are wonderful primary sources. Often skillful interviewers have led politicians to let slip an opinion or incident they later regretted saying on live TV!
