If you print in the library or a Furman computer lab you will soon notice a new popup message when you log into a computer. The popup is from the software Furman is piloting to report on printing in computer labs. If Furman had a print quota, the popup would inform you of the balance remaining in your printing account. The $99,999 balance is simply a placeholder, and will not decline as you print, since Furman does not use quotas, or costs per page, at this time. You can see more information about the print management pilot by clicking on the printless.fu.campus message in the popup, or you can see how many pages you have printed by clicking on Details, and then logging in with your NetID and password.
Remember, there are no charges or print quotas at this time.
For comments or questions about the print management at Furman, please send an email to printless at furman.edu.

thank you so much for publishing this information. i was quite taken aback when i first saw this window pop up on my computer screen. although i did feel that i was safe with a $99,999 printing budget. i am so glad that you are keeping the furman community informed about these important matters. keep up the good work!
