Yes, our chapter does believe that Valentine should be an occasion to share our love to everyone. And this weekend, we spent time doing crafts for children of the Greenville Children’s Hospital during this flu season, with a hope to share a piece of warmness for them in this Valentine.
We did made a love bug, paper flowers, and Valentines. Since the project occurred during flu season, most of the patients were confined to their rooms. Only 3 children were able to participate. However, we left many crafts and about 20 Project Linus blankets to be passed out to the kids. The contact person, Cathy Howell, assured us that the blankets and crafts would be loved by the kids. So while we didn’t have much personal interaction, the young patients still got to feel the APO love!
