In Episode 19, Dan and Coach Richey open up by discussing the enhancements that have been taking place for this upcoming season. The first big announcement is the addition of Matt Aldred who is the new basketball-specific strength and conditioning coach. Coach Richey expresses his excitement with how each player well now get the opportunity to have individualized plans in the weight room. The second big announcement is the addition of two video boards in Timmons Arena. This addition will allow for a greater fan experience with more interactivity and replays during the game. In regards to the upcoming team, the four freshmen have arrived on campus along with the returners to begin summer school and practice. In coaching news, Tyler Lewis has left Furman University and taken a job with East Carolina as the Director of Basketball Operations which leaves an opening on staff. Coach Richey will be looking to fill this opening with a familiar name in mid-July. Stay tuned for that.
