In Episode 22 of the All DIN podcast, Coach Richey and Dan begin by discussing the start of official practice and the progress that the team and certain players are making. Coach goes into detail about the competition level and also how the chemistry of the team is starting to come together. Coach then provides insight regarding the health status of Andrew Brown, Matt Rafferty, and Jalen Slawson and states how by the end of the week everyone should be in full swing! Coach transitions into the hire of new Assistant Coach Jimmie Williams, stating how he is a big time connector, recruiter and communicator, also stating how he will be a big asset to our program. Following the overview of the staff, Coach mentions some of the upcoming events we have taking place here soon. On Saturday, October 13th at 10am we will be having our Purple vs. White scrimmage, Thursday, October 18th at 8pm we will be having our 2nd Annual Dins After Dark, and Saturday, October 20th we will be scrimmaging University of Florida! Later in the show, Director of Operations Jon D’Angelo has an opportunity to sit down and give his insight on Furman and also how the people and experiences helped him get to this point. Jon also provides his experience of his first time being on campus and seeing and workout and how he notices that Furman is the right place for him based off the people and culture that we have.
