Evening Circulation Supervisor, Jimmy Quinn, was jailed yesterday for several hours. His charge? Raise funds for Relay for Life. Mr. Quinn shared cell space with President Smolla, among others. Compute and Track Your Citation Metrics
Google Scholar recently introduced a new service called Google Scholar Citations. It is currently in testing mode with a small number of user accounts. Once it’s up and running anyone who publishes can create an account to compute and track their citation metrics.
Chicago Manual of Style Online
The Library now has access to the Chicago Manual of Style Online. A link for this online manual can be found on the Library homepage in the list of All Databases. This new resource provides access to both the 15th and 16th editions. The online Manual includes a Citation Quick Guide and other helpful tools.
