This collection of government publications captures key aspects of American life from the early 19th century onward–from agriculture, to westward exploration, politics, international relations, business and manufacturing. This new resource also includes the Serial Set Map collection, which contains thousands of multi-color and black and white maps that illuminate domestic and international events and issues. Shown below is a portion of an 1849 map of the territory between Arkansas and New Mexico.
