“theSEARCH” is a discovery engine that allows you to simultaneously search Furman’s library catalog and many of our subject databases. It acts like a Google search exclusively tailored to the Furman universe!
By design, you will get a wide array of results including books, articles from journals, magazines, and newspapers, electronic books, government documents, and items from the media collection.
You can refine your search by using the check boxes on the left side of the page.
“theSEARCH” will lead you to an article’s full text if it’s available.
Sometimes “theSEARCH” will suggest a subject database which it thinks will return the best results for your keywords. Click on the database name, but remember that books will be excluded from a database search.
