Wouldn’t it be nice to have your own private study room in the library? For an entire month? To share with 3 friends?! SUCH A ROOM EXISTS! The James B. Duke Library has created a private, VIP study room reserved for the “Scholar of the Month” and 3 of their friends.
Perks include:
- a floor to ceiling dry erase wall
- a comfy chair
- a large study table with 4 chairs
- a bookcase to store your belongings
- access to a mini-fridge and microwave
Say goodbye to hunting for a vacant study room. Say hello to privacy, comfort, convenience, and storage space!
Want to become the Scholar of the Month? Entry forms (one per person) and a submission box are available on the entry level of the James B. Duke Library. All entries must be made by Thursday, March 31st.
We will randomly select one winner from all entries on Friday, April 1st. This lucky student will be named Scholar of the Month and awarded use of the private, VIP study room during the month of April.
The Scholar of the Month will be notified via their Furman email and announced on the library’s blog, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.
