The Furman Community will no longer have to download a separate Adobe digital editions reader to access our EBook subscriptions. Everything is available and more accessible than ever on our new EBook Central App! Read below for step-by-step instructions on how to install the new app and, as always, reach out to a friendly librarian if you need any help!

Installing the ProQuest EBook Central App

Select an EBook as you normally would from the Furman Libraries website. This will take you to the EBook online reader.

Select Download Book from the Book Details Page.

Confirm the title and loan length of your selection.

Select Download the App. You will need the code to register your device.

Select a download option for your device(s).

Open the app and enter the code to register your device.

On your bookshelf you can see the books you have selected. There are also features for viewing the books as thumbnails or in a list. Once the book is downloaded, click read and enjoy!
