Do you love to read YA books? The Furman Libraries now offers a Young Adult (YA) Books Collection in the Duke Library. For the first time ever, the YA books are grouped into a single browsing collection, allowing users to easily explore popular titles and series. The idea for the collection came from Riley Draper ’23 who worked as a student assistant at the Research Assistance desk. An avid reader, Riley was also the president of the student book club “Of Mice and Furmen”. Her idea was made into a reality through the collaborative efforts and hard work of Alyssa Nance, Allison Diaz, Miles Dame, and Ainsley Miller ’25.
You can explore the YA Books Collection on the Ground Floor of the Duke Library. It’s located in the “Education Curriculum Center” along with the Juvenile and Curriculum books.
