Dins Day! ’22

In the Furman Libraries, when we think about the value we provide to the University community, we don’t always think of books, computers, or buildings. We do think of the people, the programs, and the authentic relationships that we’ve built with people like you.

April 26th is Dins Day, and as we celebrate all the things that make Furman great, we hope you will take a moment to consider ways that we can make it better together. We are particularly concerned with the financial challenges that some of our students face, so we are committing all Dins Day donations, designated to the Libraries, to programs that will help ease some of these financial burdens. Programs we will fund include:

  • The “Text Book on Reserve” program – certain expensive text books required for classes will be purchased by the library and made available for students to check out for brief periods of time.
  • Increasing titles in the streaming film collection – students will have increased access to films and video required for their classes without having to share a DVD for class assignments.

How to Give

  1. Visit the Dins Day Academics site
  2. Select the “Give Now!” button
  3. For “Designation” choose “Academics” and then select “Libraries (Friends of the Furman University Libraries”)
  4. Fill out the other required fields
  5. Select your payment method or choose “Go to Checkout”

We sincerely hope you’ll consider donating to the Libraries this Dins Day!
