Former Library Student Challenges NCAA scores

Are the NCAA’s APR Scores Fair? That’s a question posed by Monique Ositelu a senior policy analyst with the Education Policy program at New America in her recent opinion piece in Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.

Nearly a decade ago Monique was a Furman student, a standout performer in Furman’s track and cross country, and a student assistant in the InterLibrary Loan department of the Library. Her supervisors in the Library still remember her fondly and are proud of all that she has accomplished.
