While at Furman, you studied and socialized in the library. On the last day of class, you may have even indulged in a Furman tradition – frolicking in the Duke Library fountain!
I encourage you to participate in Dins Day and to show your Furman spirit by making a gift in support of the Libraries through the Friends of the Furman University Libraries fund. As you may know, the Friends partner with other campus departments to host interesting and engaging programs. The Friends also actively support student research and pre-professional engagement. This summer, we will sponsor a Special Collections and Archives Undergraduate Research Fellow in residence and a pre-professional undergraduate library intern. Both are funded, in part, by gifts such as yours. As you think about your participation in Dins Day 2018, please consider designating your gift to the Friends of the Furman University Libraries.
