A selection of photo projects for ART 303: The Photographic Essay are on display in the James B. Duke Library. In this course, students propose and complete a semester-long project of their choosing. Their photographic essay visually identifies a subject — a person, group of people, place, social or environmental issue — and communicates the subject’s story.
