While Librarians are sleeping

While Librarians are sleeping (Or at least the library is closed)

Did you know that for some research-related questions, you can get library help in the middle of the night? The library has a collection of answers to some of the most frequently asked research assistance questions, like “how can I find peer-reviewed journal articles?” and “how do I get the full text of articles I find in Google Scholar?”

Just click the “Get Help” link from the library header on every library page:

Then type your question in the “Search our FAQ” box:

If your search terms match any of our FAQ entries, the results will show up in a list. Just pick the one that seems most relevant:

No matches? If your search results list says “This question has not been asked yet” please click the Submit your Question button!

We’ll review it, and if it seems like something that more students will want to know in the future, we’ll add it to the FAQ.

And remember – the library will be open in a few hours. Contact us by chat, phone, or in person then and we’ll be happy to help.

Have suggestions for the FAQ list/service? Please contact mary.fairbairn@furman.edu.
