Congratulations to the Class of 2014! We know you might need a break from libraries, but just remember that your Furman alumni benefits include continued use of several of our library services.
- Furman alumni may obtain library cards at the Circulation Desk of the James B. Duke Library. The Furman Alumni Directory is used to confirm official alumni status. Alumni not in the directory are encouraged to register with the Alumni Office.
- Alumni may have up to 5 items checked out at one time. Most books check out for 42 days. The circulation period for leisure books is 21 days and videos circulate for 7 days.
- RefWorks was available to you as students, and you can use it as alumni too! RefWorks is a web-based bibliography and citation manager that allows you to create a personal database by importing citations from online databases or text files. Then when you are writing a paper, you can easily use these citations and RefWorks automatically formats the bibliography in seconds.
