The end of the semester is approaching and you’re probably busy conducting research for your writing assignments. If the library doesn’t have the articles you need, you can always request them through Interlibrary Loan. But keep in mind, in order to receive materials requested through Interlibrary Loan by the end of the semester, you’ll need to place your requests before the following deadline:
– December 5th is the last day to request an article through Interlibrary Loan
This deadline applies only to those items needed before the end of Fall term. Requests submitted after these deadlines will be processed, but are not guaranteed to arrive before the last day of class.
After the semester ends, please be advised that the time needed to obtain materials from other libraries nationwide can vary greatly during December and January due to holiday closings. And the Furman Libraries will be closed from December 21st through January 1st.
