Students are back on the campus of Furman University today. They are moving into their dorms, signing up for network credentials, setting up their laptops, attending events, and preparing for the start of the fall term on Tuesday. With all the bustle that accompanies the beginning of the school year, it is well worth taking a moment and thinking back to the classes that came before. In the 120 years since this photograph was taken, a lot has changed for Furman University, but one thing remains constant: the Fall semester brings with it great excitement and anticipation for the coming school year.
