During the month of February, the library invited students, faculty, and staff to go on a blind date with a book. A wide variety of books were wrapped in brown paper and placed on display. Participants were asked to check out one of the specially wrapped books and turn in a Rate Your Date slip for a chance to win a prize.
Congratulations to Samantha Condon! She won a dozen chocolate covered strawberries from The Melting Pot. Samantha went on a blind date with the book Seeing Red: A Study in Consciousness. She thought her date was interesting, but overall there was no chemistry.
