The first Secretary of State to visit Burma(Myanmar) in over fifty years, Hillary Clinton is meeting with officials there this week. Films on Demand provides the documentary, Give Me the Short Version on Burma, that provides some interesting background on this Southeast Asian country revealing its struggles and contradictions–rich in natural resources but economically poor, ruled by the military but often controlled by Buddhist priests. And why are western countries like the U.S. , U.K., etc. more comfortable with the title Burma rather than Myanmar?
