Darrell Ray

Darrell Ray, PhD, has an extensive career within Student Affairs and as a faculty in Higher Education Administration. Administrative positions have been held at the University of Georgia, Louisiana State University, a Vice Presidency at the University of Memphis. He most recently served as Interim Vice President for Student Life at Rhodes College and remained with the college as a Director of Special Projects to support efforts during the current pandemic.


Sandi George Tracy

Sandi George Tracy has served as Director of Career Services at Rhodes College since 1990. Over the last 30 years, Sandi has seen the career services landscape change as a result of technology, globalization, and new emerging career fields. Sandi is a graduate of Purdue University (BA in Psychology and Sociology) and earned her MA in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. At Rhodes, she manages an active career center, coordinates the academic and international internship programs, teaches a First Year Seminar course, and serves on a variety of campus-wide committees.


Sherry Turner

Dr. Sherry Turner is Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Chief Diversity Officer at Rhodes College. In that role, Dr. Turner leads the implementation of the institution’s strategic plan. Because diversity, equity, and inclusion are inherently part of Rhodes’ future strategic direction, she provides high-level and expert leadership for ensuring that Rhodes’ campus climate is and continues to be one in which all can thrive. Throughout her career in higher education, Dr. Turner has served as a professor, academic dean, ombudsperson, chief student affairs officer, and chief executive of a higher education consortium. She loves finding elegant solutions to complex organizational problems.

Rev. Beatrix Weil

Chaplain Beatrix Weil has served as the Chaplain of Rhodes College in Memphis, TN since 2018. As an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), she is committed to creating a college campus that feels like home to all. She holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Princeton Theological Seminary.
