Snippet from Sally…Today’s November 22 and I’ll bet not one of us cannot remember exactly what we were doing on this date back in 1963. I know I was building a toothpick structure in Art Class when the news arrived of Kennedy’s assassination. It’s nice to have a 56-year shared memory with our age group. But it’s also special to think of America’s youngest president, Theodore Roosevelt. One of his first numerous “executive orders” was a Thanksgiving Proclamation that called on all Americans to count their blessings. What a fabulous idea! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!!
