At the Annual Luncheon this week, OLLI Council President May Welborn announced a campaign to raise $100,000 to endow the OLLI Faculty Support Fund.  Income from this endowment will provide funds each year for a Furman professor to pursue research or scholarship that will enhance their classroom teaching.  Projects that involve a Furman student will be encouraged, and faculty will be required to give a Bonus Event or something similar at OLLI sharing their research with our membership.  OLLI/FULIR past presidents, the 2017-18 OLLI Council, and the OLLI staff have already made gifts and pledges totaling $29,725.  All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.  You may make a one-time gift via credit card by clicking this link.  If you would like to make a pledge to pay later on, or a multi-year pledge, you can download this form, or pick one up in the OLLI Office.  If you have any questions, please contact Nancy Kennedy at 864-294-2979 or nancy.kennedy2767@furman.edu.
