OLLI Directories are available for $3 in the OLLI office.

OLLI is fortunate to have such a gracious host in Furman University.  Many professors teach in our program, and many OLLI members participate in various facets of campus life.  Sometimes, members want to speak to Furman administrators about projects or events on campus, or talk about their own projects.  Often, the OLLI staff can answer these questions, pass along information for you, or even help you make the connection.  Before contacting other departments on campus, please check in with Nancy Kennedy, OLLI Director.  Coordinating through the OLLI office will help us maintain good relationships across campus.  Thank you.

Make plans to attend this year’s social committee Fall event Cruisin’ with OLLI.  We will revisit old time rock and roll, drive-ins, and hot wheels on Friday, October 28, 2-5 p.m. at the Herring Center. Jump back in time as and share time with other OLLI members rockin’ to the tunes of American Bandstand, check out the wheels of the Classic Car SIG members and enjoy some favorite foods of the times. No cost to attend; reservations are helpful. Purchase a food ticket in the OLLI office for $10 (mini-hamburger or hotdog, fries and your choice of a coke float or root beer float) if you like.

Have you been waiting to hear the beautiful piano in the Herring Center Lobby?  Please join us for a dedication of the grand piano graciously given to the Herring Center by Sarah and Gordon Herring on Thursday, October 27, 4 p.m.  Furman students and faculty will provide music and we will enjoy a demonstration of the instrument’s electronic capabilities.  A celebratory reception will follow the recital.
