WPLS Radio at Furman University

****Listen here!****

WPLS is a student-run, streaming-only radio station at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.

Furman took to the airwaves in 1940 when alumnus and trustee Roger C. Peace provided the university with its first studio. Over the course of 70 years, Furman Radio broadcasted on AM and FM before becoming fully digital in 2012. Now, we’re located in the student media wing of the Trone Student Center, past Burgiss Theater.

As an organization, WPLS strives to promote a culture of appreciation for music and the arts at Furman, in the City of Greenville, and beyond.
