Hey friends,
It’s been a great year. I’ve grown, learned, and had fun along the way. But one things out the most, the people. The people here at Furman have made it home. By people, I mean everyone – students, professors, staff, faculty & administration. So many of my professors have invested in me as a person and not just a student. Others just have shown care in my life and wanted to celebrate my “roses” and listened to my “thorn” moments.
Honestly, today I had lunch with one of my close senior friends and she said the thing that makes Furman special is the people. You learn so much from striking up a conversation with those who swipe our IDs to get into the Dining Hall and you feel loved by the custodial staff who always say hi, ask about your day and even offer you a ride across campus.
Can’t wait to see some of y’all visit this summer and meet the people,
