The holiday of Thanksgiving is an extremely meaningful holiday in my family and, with my first semester at university coming soon to an end, I have decided to make a list of some of the things about Furman that I am thankful for:
1. The DH cookies are the bomb.com. They are also likely to be the cause of the “freshman fifteen” for most of the students who go to Furman.
2. Furman has improved my Instagram game TREMENDOUSLY. Everywhere on campus is beautiful, especially now that the leaves have changed color.
3. The professors care. Like really care. The other day, I spent nearly two hours with my physics professor discussing physics and music. He’s basically the coolest person ever.
4. My friends are the most amazing group of people. Movie nights, late night discussions of the meaning of life, baking cheesecake out of a plastic bag… we’ve done it all!
5. Engaged Living is like my extended family away from home! Here’s a picture of us at our Thanksgiving dinner last week!
