Numerous upperclassmen have told me that the Heller Service Corp’s annual Valentine’s Dance for Exceptional Adults is always a highlight of their year, and this year’s dance was just as fabulous as they said it would be!

The Heller Service Corp (Furman’s volunteer organization) hosts the Valentine’s Dance and invites Furman students and adults with disabilities in the Greenville area for an evening of fun, laughter, and a whole lot of dancing.   They played great dance music, such as oldies like “Shout” by the Isley Brothers and newer songs like “Single Ladies” by Beyonce.  I spent the majority of my evening on the dance floor and making new friends!

Stephanie, who works in the DH, is all smiles for the Dance! I saw her the next day at lunch, and she said that she so tired and sore from all the dancing.
