The Department of Economics graduated twenty-three economics majors and six mathematics-economics majors on May 7, 2011. Students in this graduating class will be working for companies that include IBM, KPMG, Bank of America, P2 Energy Solutions, and Epic Healthcare Systems and pursuing graduate and professional studies at Virginia Commonwealth University, Wake Forest University, Vanderbilt, University of Virginia, Medical University of South Carolina, University of Alabama School of Medicine, Florida State University, Emory University, University of Edinburgh (Scotland), and Trinity College (Ireland).
